Hi, my name is Marcus and I’m a former resident of Safe Haven Rabbit Rescue, Inc.  I spent the first year and a half of my life in an outside hutch where my owners didn’t have much time for me.  They weren’t bad people; in fact my owner bought me at a flea market because she was told I was going to be killed that day.  When my owner went off to college, her mom knew I was lonely.  So she searched and search for someone to help.  Luckily, she found Safe Haven and I began my journey as an indoor bunny.

The volunteers at Safe Haven really took good care of me.  They had me adopted but I was returned because the family said I was aggressive.  Can you believe it?  It’s not true!  Well, I do grunt a lot, but I’m just talking or begging for treats! (Bananas are my favorite.)

Most people don’t realize how personable and sensitive rabbits are.  Some think we can be locked away only to be given food and water.  That is no life!  I like to run and play and sit on the couch.  But most of all, I like attention and affection.  Without Safe Haven, I would still be locked away in an outside hutch.  So please donate today and help save more bunnies like me!
